Making a welcome return to the series, this distinguished performer plays Bach, Saint-Saëns, Schumann, and others, and Reubke’s epic Sonata on the 94th Psalm.

Daniel Moult, renowned concert organist, recording artist and film presenter, is known as “one of the finest organists of our time” (The Organ). Famed for his virtuosic, intelligent and engaging performances, his musicianship has been praised as “exhilarating” (Gramophone), “dazzling” (The Organ), and “formidable” (Organists’ Review). As a soloist, Daniel has performed at major venues and festivals in the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia as well as concerti appearances in various countries. Born in Manchester and now based in London, Daniel studied at Oxford University and the Amsterdam Conservatorium. He is Head of Organ at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where he directs the highly-acclaimed organ department and has spearheaded the commissioning of three significant new organs. He teaches and leads masterclasses, workshops and courses around the world. Daniel has published several editions, including the Easy Bach and the Easy Handel albums for Bärenreiter. He broadcasts frequently on BBC television and radio and has recorded for various record labels including Sony BMG, Signum, Regent, and Fugue State Films.

How to book

  • On-line at an advance discount via www.universe.com
    Audience members should bring email confirmation/identification to the event.
  • In person: on the door at each event from 6.45pm (full price cash/cheque/card).
  • For all concerts admission is free to under-16s and full-time students (subject to availability). Identification will be requested but tickets are not required.
  • NHS workers are admitted for just £10 on the door to each concert (ID will be requested).
  • An individual great value season ticket gaining entry to all concerts costs just £75 and can be purchased directly from Thames Concerts moc.strecnocsemahtnull@ofni
  • St Andrew’s Church is wheelchair accessible and accompanying carers are admitted free (carer tickets not required).
  • It is not necessary to book tickets for the Farmers’ Market Day morning coffee concerts, but voluntary donations are gratefully accepted.
  • Latecomers are only admitted during a suitable pause in the performances. Programmes may be subject to change at short notice. Thames Concerts reserves the right to refuse admission. Evening concerts are not suitable for children under the age of 6.
